A significant step towards the future development of Kitengela was taken today as the municipal planner, engineer, and manager presented the Integrated Development Plan (IDEP) 2024-2029 to the Kajiado County Assembly Committee on Lands and Physical Planning.

The presentation, attended by the County Executive Committee Member (CECM) for Lands, Hamilton Parseina, marked a crucial milestone in the process of shaping Kitengela’s growth and development over the next five years. The IDEP outlines a comprehensive vision for the municipality, addressing key areas such as infrastructure, housing, transportation, and environmental sustainability.The County Assembly Committee will now review the IDEP and provide valuable input before it is finalized and implemented. This collaborative approach ensures that the plan aligns with the broader development goals of Kajiado County.
